Notes: The SOFUBI figure is approximately 20 cm tall. It comes in seven color variations, with the orange figure limited to 20 pieces worldwide. Each figure also features a unique header design. The headers are not stapled to the bag to prevent bending or scratches. Each SOFUBI figure also comes with one Collectible Trading Card, and there are seven different cards in total. We are an indie SOFUBI brand based in Japan. SOFUBI refers to soft vinyl figures made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride).
SOFUBI figures were first introduced in Japan in the 1960s as toys for children. In the early days, they primarily featured kaiju characters inspired by popular TV shows and movies such as Godzilla and Ultraman.
In recent years, SOFUBI has evolved beyond children’s toys, becoming recognized as “art toys” or “designer toys.” They now enjoy passionate support not only in Japan but also in places like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and the United States. Known for their unique designs, hand-painted craftsmanship, and vibrant colors, these one-of-a-kind figures have become highly sought-after art pieces among adult collectors.
Our creations are centered around the theme of “cats,” and are developed with a unique worldview inspired by Japanese anime and kaiju culture.
For our first release, we created a cat-shaped SOFUBI figure inspired by anime characters that are beloved across Asia.
We plan to continue developing more cute and distinctive cat characters.
